Configure Outlook 2003 for exchange server

If you have not already configured outlook for your profile, when you first open at you’ll go through a configuration wizard.  For the server type select Microsoft exchange server then next.

 Set the exchange server name to the name of your server on your network. An example is shown below. Check with a King computer network engineer for the correct server name if you are not sure on  1300 54 64 74

 If you are using a notebook that you intend to use offline, then check on “use cache exchange mode”. This will store a copy of your main Outlook folders on your local drive and enable you to open outlook and work on it even if you are not connect to the network.

 Press the check name button to the right of the username.  If you have entered the correct information the exchange server name and username will become underlined.

Click next and finish to complete the configuration and it will open your mailbox. You can have outlook for exchange configured on multiple computers and opened your outlook mailbox simultaneously.
