Cannot view public folder email addresses when I type in to send an email

This is for a situation where you’re running a Microsoft exchange server and want the public folder contacts to be looked up (1st)

In your list of public folders in outlook right on the contact folder and select properties. 

On the outlook address book check on Show this folder as an e-mail address book then OK

Do this for each address book you want to look up when sending e-mails

On your outlook toolbar click on the address book icon

Go to Tools/Options…

You should now see the Address book you have just added above in the list.

You can rearrange the order using the up-and-down arrows on the right and als which address list to show first and to Keep personal addresses in.
